First, this basket is so darn cute!Okay, so i love that it has a firm yet soft bottom to it so it isnt going to colapse in on itself or anything. Its light weight and can EASILY be placed in a drawr or something for storage. Each egg hole can hold 2 eggs also, which is something i wondered. Maybe not with XL eggs, but medium to large yes. I really like this basket because i only have 6 birds and i usually check every day so i didnt need the usual huge basket you can find that would fit 20+ eggs, so this was perfect.
