It's amazing how other reviews complain about it not buzzing when time expires. It's not battery operated and the product description VERY CLEARLY states you have to turn the dial to 60 minutes and then turn it back to the amount of time you want. It's a manual operation timer. That's how they work.That being said, this timer is fantastic. It's so cute and the texture is non-slip. It works perfectly every time even after being dropped on the hard kitchen for several times by my 2 year old.
