I've tried other egg rings before and they all had the same design defect: they were riveted together at the handle. This allowed the scrambled egg mixture or egg white to leak out before it could set. these are a solid ring with the handle attached on the outside, so they don't have that problem. I've found that pre-heating the rings in an empty skillet first for 5-7 minutes helps ensure that the egg will set quickly and not run out in to the skillet.I wash mine by hand, and they're easy to clean up. good quality, good price and a good value overall.
