This is very good for baking, but I recommend adding a bit more oil/liquid to it than the can suggests. Also, they provide powdered egg and water amounts for 2, 4, and 6 eggs, which is okay, but in quick breads requiring eggs, it does need to be adjusted. Unless you really like MRE's I don't recommend eating these reconstituted for scrambled eggs except for in extreme circumstances (like you've run out of jerky, pb, and other protein sources).I bought this in July of last year. Omg tried to eat them as scrambled eggs, even the smell made me sick. The taste was worse. I only paid about 29.00 maybe 30 something. I hope they don't taste bad as an ingredient.Likegood to have on handThe date on top of the can is in order that the Europeans use, as well as genealogical order. 21Dec30 means it expires on December 21, 2030. Tried these awhile back and was very pleased with the product. Living in the city means I am limited to 4 chickens so I am hedging my bet and buying these as well.I have bought several of these and also the bucket of eggs as well for my long term food storage. I'm so glad I bought them because the price of eggs keeps going up and up. When eggs become too expensive to buy, or unavailable, I will be so glad I made the decision to buy these. Having these makes me feel secure that I can have a good protein source to feed my family when we need them.Eggs are becoming so expensive and rare. We are thrilled to have this in our pantryI purchased this for my emergency food supply. It's expiration date is 2032. That's what I was promised. I can't comment on taste or ease of use as I haven't tried it. Maybe I'll not have to.This product is supposed to be good for 10 years, but it came with an expiry date for nine MONTHS from when this review is being written.I received this product about 15 minutes ago and when I opened the box I found the can heavily damaged. The box was in good condition so somebody loaded this long-term survival food damaged into a box and sent it to me.I figured I would simply return the damaged can and order a new one but there is a no return policy for this product. It is unopened. This is a lot of money for eggs to be told I must keep damaged merchandiseI bought this Item in October for a total of $79.00 w/shipping and tax. I haven't tried them yet as I have been looking into mylar bags, Moisture absorbers, Oxygen absorbers and a vacuum sealer before I open the #10 can. It took slightly longer than I was told but arrived undamaged.I just ordered another can of the powdered eggs because it's a good product. You can't tell the difference in taste at all. But the first order came in a much smaller box that I didn't take a picture of. This is the box this can came in today. It was the only thing in that box! What a waste of wood!I received a dented can. I didn't open the box my wife did and she believes it was not caused from shipping. Honestly not sure what to do at this point. The shipping time has now changed to 1-1.5 months so replacing is a drag. I hear it can affect the product but it's not a major dent. So I'm confused.
