The handle needs to be longer for traction and ease.It doesn't whisk as good as the one that was my mother's for so many years but it is better than today's wire whisks.As I said in the other reviews I bought 3 different whisk the day I bought this one, looking for a nice feeling whisk that would do the job. All 3 are great but my favorite is the Galaxy Spring Whisk...it just feels wright!!This is a must have for gravy and sauces; especially Asian sauces, to avoid lumps of cornstarch or flour. This product is a great price and is made well. All of it is stainless still so durable and no rust.So you can only really use this in mostly liquid mixes due to how springy the end is. It's great for frothing milk, but that's pretty much the only thing I've to use it for without it bending and effectively not working....but she would have liked the handle to be longer. All in all she would have looked for one with a longer handle I think.These are hard to find. I love them because they scrape the bottom of the pan much better than other kinds.I had one of these 35 years ago which was lost in a move. I've been looking for a replacement for decades. Praise God for the internet! Great for cooks or anyone who likes to beat eggs in a small bowl.
