Were it not a huge pain to switch back to the sets we had in place beforehand, I would definitely return these sets and ask for a refund.The description is fairly misleading. It reads like these are Kwikset door sets, but they are not. Only the keyway is Kwikset---and it is reversed from the normal way locks operate. When the locking mechanism on the handle and deadbolt are in the vertical position, ( | ) , the door is unlocked. When they are in the horizontal position ( -- ) , the door is locked. This is opposite of every deadbolt/door lock I have had in my life. Very confusing. This issue cannot easily be remedied either.Also, when you attempt to unlock the door handle, you have to be very precise and I often find myself toggling back and forth between locked and unlocked to get the door to open. In my opinion, that is a downright dangerous issue.
