I bought these for my 10 month old to play with since he loves them in music class. However, they were a bit too small ( I felt he could possibly get the whole thing in his mouth) and they were cheaply constructed; they looked like two Easter eggs glued together. The sound was nice though!Perfect size, shape and weight for babies little hands. Lightweight so easy for babies to hold independently and well made. I have had these for months now, they get used daily and have survived being thrown about with no damage. Great value for money. Highly recommend.These egg shakers are good value for money and my little baby (12mths) loves them. When his friends come to play they love them too. Ideal for little hands.
