Normally, being male I would not be interested in reading a book that is very focused on a female audience. However , inasmuch as this is a subject that has affected many couples I know over the years, I read Ms. Fischer's book and was impressed. It is a very clear and personable approach to the mind-boggling logistics and cost of finding a way to balance a professional life (as a woman) without facing a childless future by working through your most fertile years. Freezing your eggs is just the end result. Ms. Fischer takes the reader on a journey through what is a biologically and financially draining experience, and most importantly, touches on the emotional challenges as well. Women who read this book will be left with a very clear guide to the entire process of preserving their eggs for the future, as well as the unvarnished assessment of the effect of this journey can have on their body, and their mind.
